What I learned when I stopped chasing the next AI thing
Every week there’s a new AI tool. I used to try them all—until I built a system around just one. Here's what changed.
Hey friend,
For a while, I felt like I had to keep up.
Every week:
New AI tool. New Chrome extension. New “10x productivity” claim.
And every time I tried a new one, I’d wonder—is this the thing that’ll make everything easier?
Spoiler: it rarely was.
So I stopped chasing.
I stopped switching.
And I started building something quieter—but better.
Unlock AI-powered productivity
HoneyBook is how independent businesses attract leads, manage clients, book meetings, sign contracts, and get paid.
Plus, HoneyBook’s AI tools summarize project details, generate email drafts, take meeting notes, predict high-value leads, and more.
Think of HoneyBook as your behind-the-scenes business partner—here to handle the admin work you need to do, so you can focus on the creative work you want to do.
I use one tool now: ChatGPT
No fancy stack. No automation rabbit holes.
Just a single ChatGPT project I call The Juicer Business.
Inside it, I’ve created one chat per function:
✍️ Newsletter Writer
📈 LinkedIn Post Writer
💡 Business Coach
🧠 Lead Magnet Builder
Because memory is shared across my account, I don’t have to re-explain who I am or what I’m building.
It just knows.
And every week, it gets smarter.
I realized I didn’t need more tools—I needed a better rhythm
What I wanted wasn’t “more output.”
It was more clarity.
Something that could help me:
Draft content without feeling robotic
Think strategically when I’m stuck
Repurpose old ideas without reinventing everything
So instead of trying out 17 tools this month, I deepened my use of one.
And that changed everything.
This one system helped me…
Write this weekly newsletter
Draft my viral LinkedIn posts
Design lead magnets that brought in 200+ email leads
Plan and reflect like I had a real creative partner
And it does all that... quietly.
Without buzzwords.
Without burnout.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the AI noise:
You don’t need another tool.
You need a system that fits how you work.
Start small.
Build one project.
And train it like a teammate—not a toy.
Catch you next week ✌️

PS – Want to build your own AI content system like mine?
I put together a 1-day self-guided course on creating your own AI system to help you grow your personal brand.
(It’s the same setup I use to write my LinkedIn posts—week after week, tool-free and burnout-free.)
