Hey {{ck:_first_name|there}},
I ran a small experiment.
For 30 days, I split my CTAs into two types.
Some ended with a link.
Some ended with "reply LEADS" or "reply COHORT."
Then I counted the replies.
Here are the numbers
Keyword CTAs: 7 issues, 5 got replies. 71%.
Link CTAs: 5 issues, 2 got replies. 40%.
But here's the real finding.
Every single keyword reply was intentional. Someone read "reply LEADS" and did exactly that.
The 2 replies on link-CTA issues had nothing to do with the link.
One person asked for a call.
Another disagreed with the post.
Neither clicked anything.
So the TRUE difference wasn’t 71% vs 40%.
It's 5 intentional replies vs 0.
Why I think keyword replies are better
A link asks for a click.
A keyword asks for a conversation.
Clicking is passive. (I know it gets your CTR higher!)
But replying is a commitment.
When someone types "LEADS" back to you, they've already decided they're interested.
They’re warmer leads than just a curious clicker.
What I'm doing differently
More keyword CTAs. Fewer plain links.
Not because links don't work. But because replies build actual relationships.
Every reply is a conversation I get to have personally. Every click is just a number in a dashboard.
📌 That’s why I’m going to run a webinar to show you how I get leads for my consulting business. If you want to get in on the waitlist, just comment “WEBINAR”.
I’ll add you to it.
