How my business sells for me while I’m working a 9–5

People comment, I reply with a link to my squeeze page.
They’re already interested. They’ve raised their hand.
So when they land on the page… they’re not cold. They’re ready.

Some people might see this as a gimmick.

But I see it as a fair exchange of value.

Them: Get a free guide that saves time on research.
Me: Get to provide free value (and sell them something relevant)

No hard feelings!

Here’s where most people stop:
They collect emails and then send the freebie.

But that’s a missed opportunity.

I use Beehiiv’s automation to redirect people immediately after signup to a course sales page—with a 20% one-time discount for my $99 course.

The course solves the exact problem they’re facing.
They’re warm. They’re curious.
And many of them say yes—right there.

After that, they’re redirected again to the lead magnet.

This one change literally 4x-ed my sales last week.
And it didn’t require a single email launch.

I host my lead magnets in Notion—clean, mobile-friendly, and instantly accessible.

And because it’s a clean website, it feels like an actual digital product.

It creates a smooth user experience that says,
"This is worth paying attention to."

And that’s exactly the vibe I want my business to carry.

This funnel works because it meets people in the moment they care most:
Right after they consume your content.
Right after they take action.
Right when they want more.

And instead of saying, “Thanks! Here’s your freebie.”
You say, “Hey—you might love this deeper resource too. It’s 20% off today if you grab it now.”

For the right warm audience, it works.
And it works dangerously well.

We’re not merely building funnels.
We’re building a financially resilient “alter-ego”.

Like how Peter Parker’s alter-ego is Spiderman.

Here’s the harsh truth: Relying on just your 9–5’s salary in 2025 is a super risky bet.

Not because you're not good enough.
But because the economy is changing—and the rewards just aren’t keeping up.
