Most people know I use AI to help me write LinkedIn posts now.
But here’s the truth:

My first AI-generated posts? They were terrible.
Full of emojis and just plain bland… lol

But what’s worse?
I had no idea how to actually turn my posts into leads.

The “accidental” breakthrough

One day, I stumbled onto something I didn’t even realize was a lead magnet.
I shared a simple resource, linked to a page asking for emails—and people signed up.

It was a 1000+ Marketing Prompts ebook.

Before I knew it?
That little experiment brought in my first few hundred subscribers.
Then thousands.
Today? I don’t share prompts anymore.

But, that AI lead magnet system has brought in 10,000+ email leads.

The best part?
I used AI to help me build the whole thing.

Here’s how I pull leads off LinkedIn and onto email (without burning out):

1. I use ChatOS to create the lead magnet

Inside ChatOS—my project that runs my LinkedIn system—I have a dedicated chat for lead magnet creation.

I simply ask:
"Can you create a lead magnet outline for [insert audience problem]?"

It drafts ideas for me.
Then I tweak the language—removing emojis, fixing weird phrasing, tightening the structure.

Once it sounds like me? I place the content into a Notion page or PDF.

I also add screenshots and images to help explain the concept.

2. I design a simple, scroll-stopping image
I make a clean, visually appealing mockup of the resource.
This becomes the “cover image” for my LinkedIn post.

No fancy design skills needed—just something clear and branded.

I use Canva.

Something like this:

3. I post with a proven CTA

In the LinkedIn caption, I use this structure:

  • Like this post

  • Comment “keyword”

  • Connect with me (must be connected to get the resource)

It works because:
It builds engagement on the post
It brings new connections into my network
It gives me permission to message them with the resource

It’s like fuel to the LinkedIn algo! 😁🔥

4. I send them to a squeeze page
Once they comment and connect, I DM them the link to my landing page.

The page does two things:

  • Captures their email

  • Includes a short questionnaire to qualify them for paid opportunities

If they’re ready for more?
I follow up.
If not? They’re now on my list—and I keep building trust over time.

The result?

  • 10,000+ email subscribers

  • A growing LinkedIn audience

  • Qualified leads moving from content → email → paid offers

  • And a system I can repeat—without burning out

If you’re just posting on LinkedIn hoping people magically DM you… you’ll be stuck for a while.

Instead?
Let AI do the heavy lifting.
Let a system bring structure to your lead generation.
And take your audience off the platform—so you own your leads.

See you later,
Justin
