Hey {{ck:_first_name|friend}},
Three people filled out my survey this week.
One said: "I need to find my people."
Another said: "I want followers who are my ICP."
A third said: "I post but it's not converting."
Three different people.
Same root problem.
No, it’s not their content that’s broken…
They simply have the wrong positioning.
Why positioning matters on LinkedIn
LinkedIn is a distribution machine.
It sends your content to whoever your profile signals.
Vague headline? It sends you everyone, and only a few stick around.
Broad content? It sends you literally everyone.
LinkedIn just sends you what I call “curious creatures”.
People who are just curious about stuff but can’t pay a dime.
And curious creatures don’t book discovery calls.
Nailing your positioning
The coaches getting inbound leads do one thing right.
They've made it crystal clear who they're for.
They constantly drum it in their messaging.
Their profile says it.
Their content says it.
LinkedIn does the targeting for them.
When your positioning is sharp, the right people come pouring in.
And no, the algorithm didn’t change.
Your signal to it did.
Are you posting into the void and getting the wrong people responding?
Clearly, it’s not that your content sucked.
You just need to tweak your positioning.
