Hey {{ck:_first_name|friend}},

Your LinkedIn profile has one job.

Make your ideal client think: "This is exactly who I need."

Most consultants only optimise one part of their profile.

Usually the headline.

Here's the truth: a high-converting profile has 5 parts working together.

That lead in your CRM? Gone.

Over 3.5 billion people open WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger every day. Your customers are already there, asking questions and comparing options.

Wati puts your business across WhatsApp, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, SMS, RCS, and web chat in one AI-powered inbox.

Automations instantly respond, route conversations, and keep every interaction tracked in one place.

Meet customers where they already are, before your competitor does.

1. Headline

Don’t just include your job title.

Not "Consultant | Helping businesses grow."

As a consultant, you want to exactly who you help and what outcome they get.

Use this formula:

Who exactly do you help?

Not "businesses" or "coaches" — be specific. Think: industry, size, stage.

Example: B2B SaaS founders under $2M ARR

What specific outcome do they want?

The thing they'd pay for — not the thing you do.

Example: Predictable monthly recurring revenue

What are they trying to avoid?

The pain that makes them nod when they read it.

Example: Burning cash on ads that don't convert

Put it together

Example: I help B2B SaaS founders get predictable MRR without burning cash on ads.

This is the first thing anyone reads. Make it count.

2. Banner

Most consultants waste this space on a stock photo.

Like a mountain or something.

Don’t waste that space!

Use it to reinforce your positioning visually.

Even a simple text banner works in your favour.

3. Photo

Not about looking fancy.

About looking like someone worth trusting with a real business problem.

It just has to have these 3 basic elements:

  • Clear face.

  • Good lighting.

  • Professional clothes

4. About section

This is where most profiles fall apart.

They write an entire resume in 3rd person voice.

But LinkedIn isn’t a resume!

Just use the PIPA framework:

Pain, Insight, Position, Action.

Speak to their problem FIRST before you mention your credentials.

Most consultants use this as a portfolio dump.

What’s with all the random links?

Here’s how you can make it better:

Make it a clear next step.

For example:

  • A lead magnet.

  • A case study article you wrote.

  • A CTA to book a call with you

Give them one obvious action to take.

Just pick ONE.

So…

When all 5 parts of your profile work together in harmony, your profile sells for you! (While you sleep)

Want an example?

Both LinkedIn algorithms, search and content, pick up the signal.

The right people start finding you.

BTW, I built a free tool that scores your profile across all 5 of these.
